The Sitting Service personally interviews every Sitter before we engage them with our service.
We run criminal record checks, and request three personal references, which are verified. You can never be too
careful, and we do not recommend hiring Sitters that have not been screened professionally.

We have a strong record of quality - and have been serving families for over 65 years in Fairfield County.
The majority of our Sitters come through referrals from member families, or Sitters working for the service.
All are at least 21 years of age, reliable, and able to handle your family's needs. Safety is our priority - and
we want you and your family to be at ease. You can always request your favorite Sitters,
and we will do our best to accommodate you.
